Regarding Hacking Images

I've taken to hacking images that I find on the internet and that friends post to me. Its fun to go into photoshop with an image you did not make and manipulate it, becoming a collaboration of sorts and fun way of making new art, and then sharing it.....

Peter Anger was invited by Brian Mahieu to participate in a new gallery in Fulton Missouri. He has consigned some of his best new and old works of photography and has organized a show for this fall called : "The latest works of art by heartland artists.

I have a one person show at Columbia College in the early fall of 2014-

The show will be all new work as I have been making a lot of new and for me different light paintings.........

David Spears new work

me thinks David Spear is one of the foremost artists in Columbia. he is diplomatic, well trained, however he seems to be "breaking out" his new opus - challenges the viewer to understand what he has created. many times when you do art, out of your comfort zone - art you feel but don't understand @ the moment - this new work by Davidci - you should go experience.... a pic from my viewing of davids reception @ his studio 4/19/2013
